Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 September 2026
The short version: the speaker cleaner and the tone generator run entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies. We only receive personal information if you choose to send it to us.
This policy explains what information clean-myspeaker.com handles, why, and what you can do about it. If you have a question, email [email protected].
The sound the tools play
All tones are generated on your device by your browser. No audio is downloaded from us and nothing about your use of the tools is sent to our server.
Microphone
The cleaner can measure your speaker before and after cleaning, but only if you turn on Measure before and after. Your browser then asks for permission to use the microphone. While a check runs, the tool listens to the speaker for a few seconds and analyses the sound on your device. The audio is never recorded, stored or uploaded. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser settings.
Information stored on your device
The tools save a few small items in your browser’s local storage so they work the same way next time:
- which cleaner options you turned on, such as Deep clean, the microphone check and vibration
- your recent speaker check scores, if you use the microphone check
- that you have already seen the volume safety note
These items never leave your device and we cannot see them. You can remove them with the Clear button in the check history or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Contact form and email
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message, along with the time it was sent and the page it came from. The message is emailed to us and a copy is kept on this website so it cannot get lost. We use it only to reply to you. Stored form messages are deleted automatically after 180 days, or sooner if you ask. The same applies when you email us directly.
Comments
If you leave a comment on an article, WordPress stores the name, email address and website you enter, your comment, and your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Hosting, Cloudflare and server logs
Like every website, our server records basic technical details for each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure.
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and speeds up loading. Cloudflare processes your IP address to do this and may set a strictly necessary security cookie. You can read how Cloudflare handles data in its privacy policy.
Cookies
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Apart from the Cloudflare security cookie, WordPress sets cookies only if you log in or leave a comment, to remember your details.
Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We only share it with the services that run this website, such as our host, Cloudflare and our email provider, or when the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, such as a message you sent. Email [email protected] and we will handle your request.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
